About SPD Research Tool
SPD Research Tool is a small utility for Windows computers that allows you to flash stock firmware (PAC) on Spreadtrum/Unisoc-powered smartphones, feature phones and tablets.

Feature’s
Easy Interface
It has an easy interface, allowing you to instantly select the stock firmware by clicking on the Load Firmware button. It also allows you to access the tool’s settings including Flash Operations, Multi kyou to flash .pac-based stock firmware on Spreadtrum/Unisoc chipset-powered smartphones and tablets. Therefore, the tool may be more convenient and valuable than the SPD Upgrade tool.
Flash Recovery
It allows you to flash stock recovery on your Spreadtrum/Unisoc device. You can also flash a custom recovery or any root package on your Spreadtrum device.
Other Options
It allows you to select the device’s multi-language options (requires NV file), configure LCD settings (may require user image file), read MCP type, volume frequency tuning, active flash, and Erase and write active flash.
How To Use
- Download and Install Spreadtrum USB Driver on your Computer.
- Download the Stock Firmware (.pac-based) of your Spreadtrum Device.
- Now, extract the SPD Research Tool on your computer.
- Now, open ResearchDownload.exe.
- Now Locate the .pac firmware on your computer and click the Open button.
- Now, click on the Start Download button to start the installation flashing process.
- Now, turn off your SPD device and connect the device to the computer by pressing the Boot key.
- Now, the flashing process will start and it may take a couple of minutes to complete.
- Do not disconnect the mobile device during the flashing process. Once the installation process is complete, you will be able to see the green passed message. Now the device will restart automatically.
- Congratulations! Now, your mobile device is ready to use.
