Grahak ki shikayat: “Camera Failed aa raha hai” ya “Camera khul raha hai par screen kaali (Black) hai.”
Zyadatar technicians bas camera badal kar haar maan lete hain. Lekin asli khel LDO aur MIPI Lines ka hai. Aaj hum wahi seekhenge.
Step 1: The “Flashlight” Test (Sabse Bada Raaz)
Phone kholne se pehle, yeh test karein:
- Test: Camera app band karein aur Torch (Flashlight) on kare.
- Result A: Agar Torch jal rahi hai = Iska matlab Voltages (Power) camera section mein aa rahi hai. Fault shayad Camera Module ya Data Lines mein hai.
- Result B: Agar Torch bhi ON nahi ho rahi (ya Greyed Out hai) = Iska matlab Camera Voltages (1.8V/2.8V) missing hain. Power section (LDO) check karein.
Step 2: Camera LDO Check (Voltage Ka Source) – [Hot Testing]
Camera ko chalne ke liye 2.8V (AVDD) chahiye hota hai. Yeh voltage aksar Power IC se nahi, balki connector ke paas lagi LDO se aata hai.

- Kya hai LDO? Yeh ek choti si 4-5 pin ki IC hoti hai.
- Checking Process:
- Phone ON karein aur Camera kholne ki koshish karein.
- Connector ke paas capacitors par voltage check karein.
- CAM_AVDD: 2.8V (Motor/Lens ke liye).
- CAM_DVDD: 1.2V (Core ke liye).
- CAM_VIO: 1.8V (Logic ke liye).
- Fix: Agar 2.8V nahi mil raha, toh paas mein lagi LDO check karein. Agar LDO kharab hai, toh aap usey badal sakte hain ya (emergency mein) 1.8V ya 2.8V ka jumper de sakte hain.
Step 3: MIPI CSI Filters (Data Lines)
Agar voltages (2.8V, 1.8V) aa rahe hain, fir bhi Black Screen hai (photo nahi dikh rahi), toh iska matlab Camera photo kheench raha hai par CPU tak bhej nahi pa raha.

- Logic: Camera aur CPU ke beech data MIPI Lines se chalta hai. In lines ke beech mein chhote Filters (Coils) lage hote hain.
- Check (Cold Testing): Connector ke paas pairs (jode) mein lage coils/resistors ko check karein.
- Fault: Agar koi coil open (beep nahi de rahi) hai, toh graphics nahi aayenge. Usey Short (Jumper) kar dein.
Step 4: The “Short Camera” Conflict
Aajkal ke aadhunik (modern) smartphones mein humein Quad-camera ya Triple-camera setup dekhne ko milta hai. In phones mein sabhi cameras ek complex circuit ke dwara jude hote hain. Agar inmein se koi ek bhi camera sensor internal short ho jaye ya kharab ho jaye, toh uska asar poore system par padta hai. Is wajah se phone ka Camera App open nahi hota aur screen par “Camera Failed” ya black screen ka error aa jata hai.
Troubleshooting Steps (Samadhan): Is problem ko diagnose karne ka sabse sahi tarika “Step-by-Step Isolation Method” hai:
- Sabse pehle phone ke motherboard se saare cameras ke connectors ko disconnect kar dein (remove kar dein).
- Ab phone on karein aur check karein.
- Iske baad, ek-ek karke cameras wapas lagayein. Har ek camera lagane ke baad phone on karke camera app check karein.
- Jise lagane par camera app chalna band ho jaye ya crash ho jaye, wahi camera faulty (kharab) hai.
- Uss faulty camera ko replace karein ya agar replacement available nahi hai, toh use nikaal kar chhod dein taaki baaki ke cameras sahi se kaam kar sakein.
